Pink Pepper - this Brooklyn boutique which just opened in November of 2011 has the feel of a Victorian boudoir. The Time Out New York review dubbed it an “elegant, ultrafeminine boutique.” Owner Nicola Salky-Johnson has set out to deliver a lifestyle experience with everything from casual wear, denim, work wear, evening dresses, handbags, shoes, outerwear, small leather goods, jewelry, home accessories, beauty products and gifts.

Neda - a boutique that recently joined JOOR, Neda is located in Cobble Hill in Brooklyn, NY. The store features a lot of dresses, mostly Eva Franco and Tracy Reese, with lots of prints and patterns. It’s a great place for women of many ages to shop for a dress for any occasion, be it a simple cocktail party or a holiday event. Neda also has a unique selection of jewelry and gift items. It’s a great spot for local jewelry designers to get featured (all the jewelry in the store is displayed creatively in enclosed cases).

Dear Fieldbinder - located in Cobble Hill area of Brooklyn, this Smith St. boutique is stocked with “an eclectic mix of established designers and daring up-and-comers” as well as owner Lara Fieldbinder’s own DF label. The Village Voice dubbed this the Best Indie Boutique for Women in 2011 and it’s no doubt that the crisp clean displays and clearly curated point of view contributed to the accolades. This store targets a sophisticated but comfortable Brooklynite who appreciates the gallery-like experience of the store. JOOR member brands we saw featured during our visit include: Corey Lynn Calter, Parker, Plastic Island, Seneca Rising, Kai-Aakman and Won Hundred.
